The LCS 50, with 3 axes, is Synova’s most compact and cost-effective Laser MicroJet® machine. The system is ideal for machining industrial diamond tools, watch components and other small workpieces that require precision cutting, drilling, slot milling or cutting, as well as advanced 3D machining.

The machine is fitted with linear motor shafts (LCS 50-3) and represents the latest developments in precision laser machining. The advanced CNC system is equipped with a high-performance green laser, a compact high-pressure pump with a unit for ultra-pure water, a 21.5-inch touchscreen for intuitive control and a vision system with motorised zoom for precise positioning and monitoring.
Material capacity
The LCS 50-3 handles a wide range of materials, from hard supermaterials to metals and ceramics:- Diamond material: polycrystalline CBN (PcBN), polycrystalline diamond (PCD), monocrystalline diamond (MCD), CVD diamond, natural diamond (ND) and cemented carbide (WC).
- Metals and alloys: stainless steel, gold, Durnico, CuBe, copper, brass, aluminium, shape-memory alloys (Nitinol), titanium, nickel and various superalloys.
- Keramer: ceramic matrix composites (CMC), silicon carbide (SiC), silicon nitride (SiN), zirconia (ZrO₂), HTCC/LTCC, aluminium nitride (AlN) and aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃).
