As no focus adjustment is required, this enables a working distance and a cutting depth of up to 30 millimetres. This means that a diamond can cut in a single operation, rather than from both sides as with conventional lasers.
DCS 150
DCS 150 is Synova’s diamond cutting system for small and medium-sized natural and lab-grown diamonds. The 3-axis machine enables the cutting of rough diamonds measuring 2 grz to 4 carats, and drilling and slicing of CVD diamonds.
